Build the platform that makes every website smarter.
We are a small, senior team working on a problem at the intersection of data, privacy, and marketing technology. Every person here owns a meaningful piece of the product. There are no approval chains, no roadmap politics, and no work that exists to fill a sprint. If you want to build something that gets used by real companies every day - and you want to see the impact of your work in the metrics - this is the right place.

Years profitable
A problem worth spending your career on.
97% of website visitors leave without converting. The average B2B site has the same conversion rate it had five years ago - despite faster load times, more content, and bigger ad budgets. The problem isn't effort. It is that websites are still built for a hypothetical average visitor instead of adapting to the real one in front of them. Mister Chameleon fixes that. We are building the infrastructure that lets any website serve the right message to the right visitor at the right moment - without cookies, without a data science team, and without a six-month implementation project. Working here means you are building something that is measurably better for the companies that use it. The conversion lifts are real. The customer stories are real. And the problem is large enough that there is years of interesting work ahead.
What working here actually means
Remote-first, not remote-tolerated
The whole team works remotely. Our async culture is built around clear written communication, Notion documentation, and Slack threads that don't require you to be online at a specific hour. You work where you are most productive.
Real ownership from day one
Every engineer owns a significant surface area of the product. Every marketer owns a channel end-to-end. There are no tickets to implement someone else's spec. You design, build, ship, and improve.
No meeting Wednesdays
The full day is protected for deep work, every week. Calendars stay clear, Slack goes quiet. We take this seriously - it is not aspirational policy, it is actual practice.
Learning budget with no strings
€1,500 per person per year for books, online courses, conferences, or anything that makes you sharper. No approval process, no justification required. Buy what you want to learn from.
Honest over comfortable
We give direct feedback, assume good intent, and say what we actually think. We expect the same in return. Performance reviews are honest conversations, not diplomatic exercises in avoiding specifics.
Profitable and independent
We have not taken outside funding and we are profitable. That means no runway anxiety, no investor-driven pivots, and no sudden layoffs. We hire when the product earns it - and we keep what we build.
We ship to production multiple times a day.
There are no shadow roadmaps or top-down feature mandates. The team that designs a feature is the team that builds it, ships it, and measures it. That means slower consensus sometimes - and significantly better decisions overall. We write in public. Our changelog is detailed and honest. We document architectural decisions in Notion and we keep those records updated when things change. Every engineer has access to production data, every designer talks to customers weekly, and every product decision is grounded in actual usage patterns. We would rather ship something real and iterate quickly than spend months making it perfect in a branch. We break things occasionally. We fix them faster.
In their own words
I have shipped more meaningful product in 18 months here than I did in four years at my previous job. The ownership is genuine - not just a line in the job description.

Lead Engineer · Mister ChameleonThe customer feedback loop is tighter than anywhere I have worked. I talk to customers every week and what they say actually changes what we build the following sprint. That is rare and it makes the work feel real.

Head of Product · Mister ChameleonRemote-first sounds like a cliche until you have worked somewhere that actually means it. No commute, no open-plan noise, and I can still fly to Amsterdam when I want to be in the room. Best of both.

Amsterdam headquarters. European team.
Our office is on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam - a short walk from Leidseplein. When the team is in town we use it for quarterly planning sessions, onboarding new team members, and the occasional long Friday afternoon. We meet in person three to four times a year. The rest of the time you will find us on Slack, in a Notion document, or in a 30-minute video call that ends on time. Flights to Amsterdam are on us for team weeks.
Character and capability. Not keywords on a CV.
We review every application personally - there is no automated screening. We look for people who think clearly, write honestly, and have demonstrably done the kind of work we need. A matching list of buzzwords on a CV tells us very little. A clear explanation of a hard problem you solved tells us a lot. The process is: application review, a short intro call with Jasper, a paid work sample, and a final conversation with the founding team. Total time from application to offer is typically two to three weeks.
Don't see exactly the right role?
We hire for people as much as positions. If you think you would contribute something the team is missing, send a note and tell us what you would build.
